Nutrition for Teachers
In addition to a great monthly nutrition newsletter for teachers, Hillsborough County Extension offers a 4 hour course, accepted by Child Care Licensing, for child care providers. The class covers nutritional needs of small children, the legal and nutritional requirement of menus, adapting menus for allergies and special needs, and how to work with cycle menus.
Please see the schedule for dates and registration information. Classes in Spanish can be arranged with enough advanced notice.
